In the racial trauma and discrimination newsletter issue of the Journal of Pediatric psychology, Lauren was the only undergraduate student selected for publishing.

The International Honor Society in Psychology

Texas A&M Teaching Scholars Program

Teaching Scholars get direct, hands-on experience with teaching an undergraduate psychology course under the direction of a professor. The program provides experience in educational programs and knowledge about the scientific basis for educational strategies. Duties as a Teaching Scholar include mentoring students while collaborating with the instructor to create or present course content and grading materials.
